The end of the first semester I met a boy who occupied my time, but when he had golf, practice or other things I was left at home with nothing to do once again. When we broke up I realized so many things I should have known before. I should have done cheer this year because I would have achieved so much more. In high school the words time management are repeated but never really explains. I grew up hating the simple idea of time management, but I have since learned that is means balance. It is easy to think of staying in and doing nothing but studies, but true time management is the balancing the responsibilities you must complete and the things you want to do. Dropping out of high school was probably the most relieving thing of my life but also the scariest.

I was primarily interested in the arts and not much else. I now look back at that as important, because it shows me that as a non-traditional student, it is possible to make a life changing educational decision, even when it is hard. My first three semesters of college out of high school went disastrously, as I was severely unprepared and undermotivated. I was so sure I would. The transition from middle school to high school was a big change for me. The 3 reasons why the transition was a big change for me was because I don't have classes with my friends, I don't have effective teachers, and my curfew was extended when I entered high school.

Having to adapt to this change has been hard for me, but slowly I am getting used to it. Having different classes from my friends is one of the reasons why the transition from middle school to high school was a big change for me. For example, in middle school, I had all my class with my best friends. I remember that I wanted to succeed, I wanted to improve, but there was something stopping me from doing it. There were so many things going on that sent me into a deep depression throughout the school year, but even when all that happened and junior year was over, hope was not dead inside of me, I thought that I had a chance to improve and to make things.

Going into college, athletics were always first priority to me; but after being a regular starter on my soccer team entering my junior year, my priorities were completely reversed. My first two years of college saw me as one of four players out of a class of 22 players to be on the varsity soccer team, meaning that I was exposed to long bus rides, missing classes for team events, and constantly being a lesson behind other students in my class. I had trouble balancing soccer, work, and school during that time, as I was only able to maintain a 3. I decided that putting all my effort in soccer was not the correct route to take, as school was going to lead me further in life. For the next two seasons, I was on a.

Although I was not expecting a good grade, I still wondered what I had done wrong. The paper had one mark on it that was it, but I was too shy to ask what I did wrong. The same thing happened again on the next essay we wrote weeks later. I was just about ready to give up on the class, not like I actually could quit it but I was not very motivated about it. After that essay I did ask. My middle school experience has been filled with many ups and down. In fact, one could even say that my middle school experience has been pretty mediocre. I dealt with stress and made stupendous memories throughout my years here, but while being in the middle school I have truly discovered who I really am.

Middle school can be a challenging place at times, but I have really discovered myself and morals that are important to me. In sixth grade, I was dealing with the transition of being a new middle school student. But I had some of my friends to help me through it. It would only get worse from there. I met the guy who would be the father of my children my junior year which progressed to me giving up homework completely.

He was two years older than me and he was always wanting me with him rather than at school. So when the boy you supposedly love, tells you to go hang out with him if you are anything like me, you blindly go even though you know it's not the best option. My senior year came and I was in the best shape of my life but, the first week or two I just felt like not going forward and playing for Shawnee mission west anymore. Then when I was good to play I was showing up to practice late and skipping because I wanted to. The school investigated by the time the investigation was over with it was like game nine and ten. I made an angry face so she could understand that I am not interested in her boring topic. It resulted in me being so far behind in school that I was taking a few lower-classmen classes as an upper-classman.

My dream of going to college was deferred and I had my mind set on enlisting into the Marines right out of high school. I let depression win in that moment I gave up and was a victim of their circumstances. We meant again, on my terms, at the end of my junior year when I had a realization that I was not going to be a victim of depression anymore.
